Summer 2015 Course Offerings

In summer 2015, the English department will be offering one of the certificate core classes, ENGL 7975: Developmental English in the Two Year College. This course, taught by Dr. Tracy Morse, focuses on the contexts and purposes of developmental instruction in the TYC, and explores methods for effectively engaging students from various backgrounds and abilities.  This course will be taught online during Summer Session 1, 2015. Students will not be required to attend classes on campus.

Requirements

The graduate certificate in TETYC is designed for qualified candidates who wish to further their education in the field of teaching English at the community or two-year college.  This certificate is not offered online.
