The primary texts each group will be\u00a0engaging with are the digital stories,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=VeXhmIT2LhM\">Deep Water<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=gOsMn22xroo\">Progression<\/a>. This activity will help you to analyze:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>audience<\/li>\n<li>purpose<\/li>\n<li>context<\/li>\n<li>ethos<\/li>\n<li>pathos<\/li>\n<li>logos<\/li>\n<li>production strategies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By practicing recognizing these strategies and rhetorical devices, you will be better equipped to think about them when you are creating your own digital story.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Activity<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First break up into groups of 3-4, then decide whether you want to work with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=VeXhmIT2LhM\">Deep Water<\/a>\u00a0or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=gOsMn22xroo\">Progression<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Next, go to <a href=\"https:\/\/popcorn.webmaker.org\/\">Mozilla Popcorn Maker<\/a>.
