I am an adult educator from eastern North Carolina. I recently received my master’s degree in English with a focus in rhetoric and composition. I received my bachelors in English and philosophy from the same institution. My background in philosophy and my INTP personality assist me in understanding and illuminating intricacies, analyzing theories, and maintaining a critical attitude to all beliefs including my own. I believe this critical attitude is crucial to the learning process because it allows us to recognize inconsistencies, supplement congruent theories, and shed preconceptions for a better understanding.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
